Wireless, Automated, Geotechnical Monitoring Systems
Datum have developed a range of wireless, automated, geotechnical monitoring solutions.
The Datum developed SlopeMate Arrays and multipoint PiezoMates provide automated monitoring of railway slopes damaged by storms or rainfall.
Sensors configured to continually record slope stability in terms of lateral movement and pore pressure added to a system that detects impact to a catch fence from scree or washed out slope material provide a complete monitoring solution.
This type of automated monitoring is particularly useful when cabled systems are not appropriate and wireless technology with renewable power sources provide a flexible, robust solution.
Data is streamed via Platform Interactive, a software suite developed by Datum Interactive allowing clients continual and instant access to real time data via smartphones, tablets and / or desktop computers.
