Manual Environmental Monitoring
Datum provide a full range of manual environmental monitoring services.
We supply and hire out remote controlled, automated and manually operated systems to provide compliance measurements of ground borne vibration, noise and dust pollution.
Our experienced and fully qualified team will provide manual monitoring services where automated monitoring solutions may not be suitable.
Our systems are configured to provide real time data and trend analysis via Platform Interactive – Datum’s web-database – which then allows our clients to interrogate any data trends and set alarm limits.
The systems we provide can be configured to produce local visual and audible alarms and also to communicate data via email or text.
The communication of alarms is immediate and reliable to guarantee minimal harm from exposure to excessive noise, vibration or dust.
Datum carries out monitoring in many sectors of industry, but primarily focus on the following:
• Construction and building works measuring disturbance to neighbouring properties and the public.
• Monitoring in mines for blast analysis, compliance vibration measurements, dust pollution and noise caused by haulage and machinery.
• Manufacturing industry to mitigate the levels of noise, vibration and dust due to the process.
• Demolition industry to monitor the impact of machinery and pollution on adjoining properties during the demolition and recycling processes.
