Great fightback from the Tigers!

Ramsbottom Tigers were keen to carry on their form after last week’s 3-2 away win at Westbury, when they welcomed Bolton County for their first home game of the year.

In an entertaining first half, both sides created good chances, but Ruby Melia and her opposite number both excelled in goal – managing to stop everything that came at them. The second half saw the game continue in the same fashion, with good chances created by both teams, as the game looked to be heading for a goal less draw. However, five minutes from the end saw Bolton manage to scramble a late chance over the line. The Tigers team never know when they are beaten though and Ruby Melia (playing as a forward for the second half) burst through Bolton’s defence to produce a fine save from the keeper; however, Keira Pridgeon was on hand to coolly equalise.
