Datum joined forces with EPC UK for the world’s biggest working quarry exhibition.
More than 18,655 people from more than 70 countries visited the event in Derbyshire for the three-day trade fair.
The event, hosted at Tarmac’s Hillhead Quarry near Buxton provided EPC UK and Datum to showcase the launch of EPC Metrics.
EPC Metrics is a dedicated remote monitoring service for blast vibration and air over pressure movement.
The service will facilitate the immediate access of event data via state-of-the-art fixed monitoring stations, removing the need to travel to or from a monitoring location, and the time-consuming manual downloading of results in the field
Datum CEO Rory O’Rourke, said: “Hillhead provides the perfect opportunity to showcase the services offered by EPC Metrics.
“It is a stunning setting and with more than 450 exhibitors it attracts a lot of visitors and we hope it will be a great success.”
EPC-UK regular attend Hillhead and they will use the event to showcase new drone technology and update on their paperless blast solution Expertir.
