Datum founder Rory O’Rourke has been made a Fellow of the Permanent Way Institution.
The Permanent Way Institution, or PWI, provide technical knowledge, advice and support to those working within the global rail infrastructure systems.
O’Rourke said: “The PWI brings together some of the brightest minds and most experienced minds working within the rail infrastructure.
“By using our combined experience and knowledge we can drive the industry forward developing new ideas, making the industry safer and more efficient.
“Datum Group are proud to join the PWI as Corporate Members and we look forward to supporting the organisation as it moves forward.”
The PWI is the professional technical engineering institution for anyone wanting to gain and share technical knowledge about areas of the permanent way and associated infrastructure.
As Corporate Members of the PWI Datum Monitoring will attend between six and eight seminars a year, quarterly networking meetings and are featured on the PWI website.
