The Datum Group have been award five-star rating under the Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme.
Five-star status is the highest achievable rating under the Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme, or RISQS.
RISQS is the supplier pre-qualification service used by buyers of services and products throughout the rail industry in Britain.
Datum SHEQ Manager Nicola Fielding, said: “This is the second year we have held five stars and this can only be achieved when a company has had zero non-compliances for two-years-in-a-row.
“It means no corrective actions were required following the audit and that is particularly satisfying and reiterates our ability to act as a Principal Contractor.
“This is actually Datum’s fourth year of zero non-compliance on RISQS and it demonstrates the exemplary standards set by the Datum Group.”
Datum were awarded the five-star status following a three-day RISQS audit.
The audit reviewed our IMS (Integrated Management System) Sentinel (railway database holding railway competencies and medical details of every person working on the rail) and the planning and the management of our equipment and employees for Network Rail and Transport For London.
Datum CEO Rory O’Rourke, added: “I am a very proud CEO and every single member of the Datum team should be equally proud.
“We have exacting standards within the Datum Group and demand the most out of our staff and each other and achieving five-star RISQS status is an example of the rewards.”
The rating demonstrates that the Datum Group fully complies with the rail industry’s health and safety, quality and environmental practices.
