We are looking to recruit Assembly Technicians within our Engineering team. Our Assembly Technicians work across our product range to assemble and test a variety of electronic and electrical equipment.
Making our own products is part and parcel of what we do at DATUM to make sure we fully meet our customer’s needs. Our Engineering department build a diverse range of products, making use of the latest technology to ensure that we provide cutting edge monitoring solutions.
We are looking to recruit Assembly Technicians within our Engineering team. Our Assembly Technicians work across our product range to assemble and test a variety of electronic and electrical equipment.
Duties will include
This role is a great opportunity for someone who:
- Has worked in a manufacturing, production or assembly environment
- Has experience of reading complex electrical and mechanical drawings
- Has experience of working with hand tools such as soldering irons, hand crimpers, screwdrivers and pliers etc.
- Has a high level of manual dexterity and experience of dealing with small components
- Has excellent attention to detail and experience of following guidelines and procedures
- Has experience of meeting quality and efficiency targets
- Has experience of performing electronic and electrical tests

This is an entry level position with the salary dependent on experience. There will be opportunity to increase salary while in the role through the achievement of competency and performance measures.
Hours of work are 40 Hours per week, 8am until 5pm Monday to Friday.
